Tad's storytelling is simply unparalleled if you take into consideration he wrote this series in the late 80's-early 90's. He later inspired George Martin, who's first three books in the game of thrones series are my favorite books of all time. So that is awesome to me. This book continues the story Simon after slaying the dragon in the previous book and he continues his journey with Binabik and Jiriki, who are trying to find the lost city of the Sithis to recruit them to find their own people. While Josua is seeking to regroup his army to fight his brother for the throne. Ineluki's powers are ramping up and I can already tell the next book is going to be dope
