Start Me Up

Yet another light read this evening—quite enjoyable on a rainy, chilly night! I liked this one even more than the first.

Lori is a friend of Molly (the MC from the first book). We did learn about Lori in the first one and I really liked her, so I was glad to see she got her own book! The male lead is Quinn, Molly's brother, who I also wanted to know more about.

Honesty I loved this couple, both as individuals and as a unit, and I think I laughed more reading this one than the first one. I also had a much harder time figuring out who the bad guy was until almost the end. It really kept me on my toes!

Unfortunately, since I'm reviewing this almost a month after I rated and read it, I can't remember why I gave it 4 stars and not 5. I wouldn't call it a favorite, but I did really enjoy reading it and I cannot recall any issues I had with it, so they must not have been major!
