Cute, short novella about a supermodel and a farmer. The novella format meant that several scenes were referred to instead of portrayed in full, which made the romance seem rushed to me; we're told that Mal and Cadan spend time together getting to know each other but don't really experience it. And I have to admit I am getting a little tired of “snark” being the main personality trait for Morton's MCs (although the repartee is admittedly entertaining).
Also loses half a star for stealing a plot point from the Friends TV show (the one where Rachel makes an English trifle for Thanksgiving dessert, but two pages of the cookbook get stuck together and she makes an inedible mess of meat and jam).
Not a waste of time by any means but I've read other books by this author with more depth.
