This book made me want to go out and EAT ALL THE BREAD.
I love the way Sloan speaks of food. The descriptions were so vivid I could easily imagine the smell of sourdough baking. Living in Silicon Valley it was somewhat depressing to read about the frenetic pace and know that it's mostly true, but the end of the book kind of fell apart for me. And despite the main character being the main focus I barely remember much about her.
I did love the correspondence between Lois and Beoreg, but felt like the characters weren't as developed as they could have been.
