I picked this up hoping I would like it way more than I actually did. I didn't hate it, but midway through I found myself not caring to what happened to those characters. Ben and Tim are... boring, dislikeable, and we only fall in love with Jace because he has literally no flaws—and then he dies, in a huge, and I mean huge, what-the-fuck-is-happening plot twist, just so Ben and Tim can get together in the end. Who even wanted that to happen, really? No one, that's who.
Luckily, this is an overall quick,* pleasant read, and I didn't have a bad time going through the story, so I don't think I should give it a low rating. It's okay. By all means, don't expect your next fave, but it's okay.

I loved this book. The characters were fantastic and most importantly I felt like I could connect with them. The story both made me smile and brought a tear to my eye.
it was so much better than expected (especially bc i got it for free on amazon) and i read it almost in one sitting. but. i didnt like some stuff, especially the ending and how it was handled (i wont go into detail bc spoilers, but yeah)
generally though, it was an enjoyable book that helped me keep my sanity while i was waiting for my trains which were majorly delayed
