Soccermatics: Mathematical Adventures in the Beautiful Game

The book opened a completely new field of appreciation of footbal and mathematics to me. The revolition that has happen to footbal scouting and tactics in last ~10 years was completely unknown to me until I read about it in Soccermatics. I suspect next Champions League match viewing will be a different experience for me.
