I picked this up because it's one of the books that the #KeeperofKing reading group has already read and I needed to catch up on. I buddy read it with Nina and in the end we both felt pretty similar about it.
The concept of this book was very intriguing. I started reading it and I was even more intrigued. I was invested in the story and I needed to know what was going on and how it was going to end. I had so many questions while reading this book and after finishing it I still have so many questions. Most of the questions I had weren't answered and because of that I can't make sense of what happened.
This is one of those cases where the build up was amazing but the ending was not satisfying and that's a bummer because I was really hoping that sense it was written by both Stephen King and his son Owen that we would have a great ending as well. There were a lot of characters which is typical for King but it also makes it hard to keep up with everybody. I also feel like it was way to long. The build up alone is the redeeming quality for this book.
