Wanted to reread something light and cute and totally undemanding because I feel awful. This was a good choice, but now I'm wondering how so much of the story will translate to screen for the movie. Because, what with all the e-mails back and forth, and Simon falling in love over e-mails, I don't know how that will work.

Original Review

Sometimes a book gets into your head. You have no interest in reading it any time soon - if at all - then, boom, you want to read it and no other book will do. Welcome to how I wound up reading this book when it wasn't even on my TBR and I needed to read it right now so badly that I bought the ebook. Which I seldom do.

This, really, isn't my type of book. I hardly ever want to read YA contemporary romance but when I do, nothing else will work. So, I bought this book. And, ya know? It was exactly what I was looking for because it was exactly what it claims to be.

Funny. Cute. Makes a surprisingly good point about sexuality.

Not the kind of book I'd want to read all the time, but a nice breath of fresh air.
