This one's a sweet, innocent Western story from the 1950s. I handed it an extra star because I would have loved this in elementary school years...in reading level, it's a step lower than Marguerite Henry but about the same as the Billy and Blaze books.

Kim and Kay live another adventure influenced by the Western hero-horse Silver Star. This is the sixth in the series and does reference a number of previous adventures they've had, as well as some links to the author's series about a character named Ken.

There isn't a strong plot but it was overall a pleasant little story with some great vintage flavor. Squeaky clean.
