By now I feel like I understand the progression of shoujo manga. Most follow somewhat the same pattern. Yet, I'm not going to lie, I was totally thrown for a loop at the end of this volume.
Let me go back and say I love this art style which is just so clean and cute. And the characters are slowly starting to take shape, but unfortunately, this means Ten and the two main male characters while her friend and the other female boarder are slowly being forgotten. I really hope we get more friendship time and building.
There is somewhat insta-love here, but not what I expected, so I can't fault it too much. I'm really interested to see where it goes.
