Short-Straw Bride

The minute I saw that this book was set in Palestine, Texas, where my mom was born, I knew I had to read it next. I enjoyed it so much! And Meredith was such a spunky Texas woman, going into a fenced place to warn someone of danger because it was the right thing to do, no matter the danger to herself. Each brother had such a strong, individual personality.
I liked that both hero and heroine were already Christians, with growing to do that brought then closer to God and each other. Enjoyable and refreshing.
