Shadow of the Sun

It was a pretty typical YA story, although quite whimsical, it didn't spare us of the usual tropes like the characters' strange, unnatural, unlikely reactions and behaviors and cheesy insta-love, however the writing and the world building were all right so it was good enough for a lazy Saturday afternoon in bed. I quite enjoyed the historical and time-travelling aspects, I didn't care for the romance, but it didn't bother me enough to hinder my curiosity about how it all ends.
