Fave book in the series. Just because of the dimitri and rose scene and the fight scene with Christian. Loved it!
HOW DARE YOU TANTE RICHELLE??????
Kenapa merenggut Rose-Dimitri dari Happily Ever After island???
Ini seperti Star Wars episode II : Revenge of The Sith dimana Anakin memilih the dark side, no happy ending krn itulah awal mula kejatuhan galaksi.
Padahal Dimitri udh mulai membuka kemungkinan untuk menyusun masa depan dgn Rose (spoiler : they finally did the do & talking about their possibility to be together in the future).
This hurt so much. Aku sampai melempar buku ke tembok, untungnya bkn ebook ya jd ak gk banting tablet atau smartphone...
This book is so good I said! I keep liking every book better than the last I said! Then the ending happened and I was in tears, shaking, and breathing heavily. Like this book was AMAZING don't get me wrong. I couldn't get enough, but Richelle Mead ripped out my heart and stomped it into the dirt. I never thought I'd become this invested in a series I'd never even planned to read. But I'm in love with this series and I can't stop devouring book after book.
I like Rose. She's strong, opinionated, loyal and smart. Unfortunately, I accidentally started reading Blood Promise, which is the 4th book in this series, so I spent the entire book waiting for a dreadful thing to happen. It colored the entire book in this bittersweet mood, but it was still a good read. Especially compared to other teen vampire novels like the House of Night series (that sucks big time) and Vampire Kisses (which is fun, but nowhere near serious).
Rose is struggling with her desire and drilled in idea that she needs to stay with Lissa, to protect her and also her budding wish to do something for herself. When she starts seeing ghosts she goes back to St. Vladimir's history to see if her fate is already written for her.
This whole book is sort of a turning point for Rose. I can't wait to see what happens next!
The series that just keeps getting better and better.
Love the developing relationships, love the action, love the ending!
And I love a brave author (ie. an author who isn't afraid to kill off well-liked characters.)
Must go grab the next two instalments pronto!
