When Americans were talking about moving to Canada because it was so great there, I remember someone responding, “Not if you ask a First Nations person”. If you wonder what that means, this book is a great start. There were at least 187 times I wanted to throw this book across the room. These cases are what is wrong with the police. These cases are a small example of the horrible racism and awful treatment the First Nations people have suffered at the hands of Canadians (and don't think it's all that different here in the States). There's just a lot to be angry about here. I'm just having a hard time expressing myself right now, but I think this is well worth the read.
