Scythe

Fascinating concept and well-designed characters. The author did an excellent job creating the world and system of Scythes. Every once in a while, I remember this series and decide I need to pick it back up again.

Age range: 15+
Probably too violent for younger readers. Plus, the philosophy of death may be distressing.
