3.5 stars. Good holiday read if you want something you can consume in 20 minute chunks. Most of the stories are similar combinations of nice/somewhat goofy guy and oddball/angry girl. There's a “SnowBaz” Christmas story, which meant nothing to me because I tapped out after [b:Carry On 32768522 Carry On (Simon Snow, #1) Rainbow Rowell https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1481729252l/32768522.SX50.jpg 43346673]. The anomalies are two very strange, ambitious and meta stories that don't quite stick the landing (the last one, written from the perspective of a character in the author's brain, ends on a downer note). Enjoyed it enough to hope that eventually Rowell will return to writing adult, or even “New Adult” fiction.
