2 1/2 stars. Personality changes did not make sense, even when explained.

It was a pretty good book. However, the characters were incredibly flat, and the message was a bit dull and too similar to anything about preserving the environment. It was also pretty predictable.

ok, this is a young adult book, but it was an entertaining read.
