This is the second book in The Lunar Chronicles series and it is a Little Red Riding Hood retelling. Cinder is still a part of this story and I loved that. I was afraid this was going to be a completely different story that didn't involve her. While it is a different story the two stories come together and I'm loving where this is going.

There was one thing that annoyed me and that was some of the names. Well just one really. One of the characters names is Wolf. Ok while not really creative I got used to that name but there was a side character named Ran and every time I read that I was just like ugh. Both of those are nicknames by the way and actually didn't take away from my enjoyment of the book that one was just really annoying for some reason.

I loved all of the characters in this. Scarlet is fierce and a little judgmental about others selfishness when she herself was a little selfish at times but I still loved her. Thorne was so clueless he was funny. Wolf I was back and forth on but in the end I was hooked. Of course I still love Cinder and Kai.

This book was so fast paced. I would be reading it and then before I knew it I would have read 100 pages. I highly recommend this book but you should read them in order to know what's going on.
