Scandalous

Trent's story! Now, he really does seem to be portrayed differently in his book than in Defy. He went from always having a girl to being known as...The Mute? Meh. 

The thing is, Edie is another super strong main lead and I loved her. She tried her hardest to protect her own and still maintain who she is. She has had a super unlucky life which matches Trent who we've read about in the past books going through horrible luck. While I love how Trent is with Luna, his daughter, I never truly fell for him. He has some great moments, but I preferred Edie's chapters and wanted to know what was going on in her life. As a couple though they are magnificent, even if there is a crazy age gap: 18 and 30-ish.
