I read the first book in this series last month with Destiny and Malli and we decided to continue the series this month. This is the second book in The Bonds That Tie series. This is a why choose romance. We have Oli and her 5 bonds Atlas, Gabe, Gryphon, North and Nox. In this book Oli starts interacting with her bonds more and getting to know them. While she still doesn't want to bond with them she's not actively trying to push them away anymore. I love that she has grown somewhat closer to all of them albeit some more than others. I still hate Nox and North although North did grow on me just a smidge. I have to say something happened between her and one of her bonds in this book and I didn't expect it. I was expecting it with another one of her bonds but either way I loved it. I also have to mention Oli's friendship with Sage again in this review because I love it so much. This one ends on a cliffhanger and man what a cliffhanger it was. I need to read book 3 ASAP!!

Really good, better than the first and I'm very intrigued to continue the series - def a binge read. Also didt feel like 500 pages either so
Almost to DNF this one, but I really want to pull through and finish the series. But f#@* I can't stand Oli crying and self loathing any more, and the fact that we don't know what she is hiding, and why, and all these, is getting very tiring. I mean, all of them have proven not to care of what her power is, so why is she so much still trying to hide things and doesn't sit to explain.
The plot holes are getting bigger and I am so damn pissed, because this series had all the potential of becoming something great. The idea is so perfect, but the storyline is lacking.
Also, when of her bonds loses a very important person, I want to smash her head on the wall for thinking only herself, how much she misses her parents and that he doesn't treat her good... she is a selfish person and I will not change my mind.
Holy hell, our author loves a cliffhanger doesn't she? I am starving for book 3 and will probably start it after writing this review! The Bonds That Tie series continues in this second installment, and boy does it deliver! I found the pacing to be spot on and the split continue to be twisty and intriguing. Oli's gift continues to grow and develop and does her relationships with her bonds. There is one bond in particular that is quickly stealing my heart and attention. The spice is taken up a notch compared to Broken Bonds— and it is hot! We begin to learn more bits and pieces about the bonds, and I think there's definitely more depth and development still to come. Overall, this was a really good second book such a long series, and I cannot wait to start Blood Bonds soon (like in the next 5 minutes). Savage Bonds is an adult paranormal romance, 18+ for sexual content and themes.
I'm loving this series!
So much happened in this book and I can't wait to see what happens next! Yes there's a cliffy but I'm really excited that the next book is only a month away!!
