The art, character design, and story is absolutely captivating! I am very excited to continue reading this series to continue to learn about the world that has been made in this series. ~Ashley
I don't know how many times I said “omg,” but it was a lot. The twists I didn't see coming are everything. I cried twice and laughed many times. I'm so happy I started reading this series, and thanks to the writing, I truly have no idea where this will go or how it will end, and I love it. *Eyes up the compendium.
Dit was net zo raar en intrigerend als het eerste deel.
We kregen wat meer achtergrondverhaal over sommige personages, hoewel het in het begin verwarrend was om te begrijpen dat het inderdaad flashbacks waren, omdat niets erop wees dat ze anders waren dan het huidige verhaal.
Het huidige verhaal evolueerde niet veel verder. Ik denk dat dit volume vooral bedoeld was om onze hoofdpersonages wat meer diepgang te geven, wat ik zeer zeker apprecieer.
Het eindigde wel opnieuw met een sappige cliffhanger, dus zeker nieuwsgierig om verder te lezen.
Not disappointed. Often volume 2 of a series does. I'm slightly concerned that there's too many plot threads though.
I actually enjoyed this volume more than vol. 1. The artwork continues to be amazing and the storytelling is pretty awesome.
I just keep getting blown away by the character and world design, between the giant scrotum and world-egg it's completely out there and so much fun.
I am really enjoying this graphic novel. It is amazing. The artwork is awesome especially the color schemes. To me it has a nice balance between politics, racial issues, and comedy. I Can't wait to read Volume 3.
So sometimes a first volume can amaze you, but then the second volume and subsequent volumes fall short. That IS NOT the case with Saga. Maybe even stronger than the first volume, this one continues the story in fine fashion, extending the world and characters without loosing sight of the heart of it, that I was so happy with the first time around. Additional characters add interesting aspects to the story and continue to make the epic scope of the story grounded in something so ‘human', although there isn't a single human to be found among the characters. A wonderful blending of fantasy and sci-fi makes this a unique and truly one-of-a-kind graphic novel.
I am really liking this! Volume 2 was just as good as Volume 1 and now I need to go get the third volume!!
I really liked this volume. The characters are so unique and the plot is fast paced. I can't wait to read volume 3.
Utterly addictive. Moving, funny, and thought-provoking. And the art is genuinely stunning.
