This is one of my favorite legal thrillers and lowkey inspired me into being a lawyer for a hot second. It's definitely a little confusing towards the end, especially as a someone who read this with no legal context at all, but after I re-read the book, it was all good.
I got a signed copy for Christmas from my mom and brother. This seemed very different for Grisham books as the main characters just keep digging a deeper hole vs getting in a hole and then working to get out. With these characters, everything they tried just keep getting them in more and more trouble. Usually with books, this leads to a rush or forced ending/resolution. However, Grisham wraps this up nicely.
