He gives a step by step process on how to become a parent in layman terms. He also shares the joy and the heartbreak of being a foster parent. The joy of helping to make a child's life better to having to return them to a possibly unsafe life.

He shares the turmoil that his relationships with his family and partner went through as he went on this journey. How he had to learn to balance his relationships and how to keep them and himself healthy. Mainly, Turner shares his joy in becoming a parent. He shares this dream and reality with us. It was a joy to read and I wish him and his family every success.
