I wasn't sure what to expect when I picked this up, but it was a wild ride. I liked the premise of the book - what would happen if Hillary doesn't marry Bill? Where does she end up?

In the beginning, when she talks about meeting and dating Bill, it was endearing but does move a bit slowly. There's also some sex scenes that were written... interestingly. I also don't know if I was fully believable the way their relationship ended.

But once the book moves past her not marrying Bill and coming into her own life, it definitely picked up and got more interesting. I don't want to spoil this book, but there were a lots of twists and turns interwoven with real moments in history. There were a couple red herrings in this book that I thought might lead to more conflict, but they were brushed away, which is unfortunate. But overall, the book was fascinating and I find myself curious what would happen next.

If you're a HRC fan, I highly recommend this book as long as you are comfortable reading this kind of speculative fiction. Prepare yourself for some awkward sex scenes! If you love Bill Clinton and can't imagine him being painted in a bad light, you might want to think twice about this one. And - this might go without saying - but if you're a Trump fan, I don't think you'll enjoy this at all.
