This is a graphic novel with no dialogue. I'm always like when a story can be told by images alone because it gives room for a lot of interpretation. There is a strong relationship story being told through this book.If you like this you might also enjoy [b:The Arrival 920607 The Arrival Shaun Tan https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1312827620l/920607.SX50.jpg 905641] or [b:Cicada 39983607 Cicada Shaun Tan https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1527485143l/39983607.SX50.jpg 61906497]~Ashley
A beautiful, wordless comic about how people come in and out of our lives and how that changes us and them. Incredible, devastating, essential.
I didn't expect this little goofy-looking children's book to turn out to be a heartfelt tale of trauma caused by friendships falling apart, healing through acceptance and help of others, and finally moving on.
Charming. The illustrations are a bit basic but the story is very emotionally engaging. It didn't end how I was expecting though.
