living-room at Ingleside Susan Baker sat down with a certain grim satisfaction hovering about her like an aura; it was four o'clock and Susan, who had been working incessantly since six that morning, felt that she had fairly earned an hour of repose and gossip. This is one of my favorites from this series. Having Rilla as the main character was almost like a return to the first few books in the series when Anne young. The World War 1 setting makes it fresh, it is a treat to see all of Anne and Gilbert's children grown up, and I really love Kenneth Ford.
