Revenge of the Witch

This was very interesting. It reads young, but can still be enjoyable by us older folk, as long as we keep in mind the ages of the characters.

This book felt like it was setting the stage for the rest of the series, so the first half of the book felt a bit slow to me, but things picked up halfway through. The world-building is interesting and gives the book a creepy edge. I just wasn't as hooked as I wanted to be.

I'll keep reading the series to see if it peaks my interest more.
