He's a mess... Asher Knight has three constants in his life: music, beautiful women, and a bottle of Jack. He lives for the next gig, the next city, and dreams only of a life spent in front of an arena full of screaming fans. But Asher's nomad ways come to a sudden stop when he learns he's the father of a three-year-old from a past relationship and suddenly this rock star bad boy is forced to put down roots. Only she can clean up Gloria Shields is no one's fool. Sure, the sexual chemistry between her and Asher has always been intense, but she'd never risk giving her heart to a man who has a perfect record for breaking them. Except the man desperate to make things right with his newfound son is nothing like the rock god she's guarded her heart against for years. And it isn't long before she starts to wonder if life with this bad boy might be the best thing that's ever happened to her.

M Robinson never fails to write controlling alpha-men and it's absolutely evident in Second Chance Love.
Caleb and Evie's story starts with a chance encounter at a college party. Their chemistry is great from the beginning, until Caleb finds out that Evie is his best friend's little sister.
With their back and forth banter and anger at each other over the course of 12 years, Evie and Calebs chemistry just bleeds off the pages. You can tell they're meant to be together. Shocking revelations in the present rock Caleb's world, but will Evie stick with him through it?
There is a lot of time jumps in this one. Back and forth between past and present (as the rest of the series is as well) and that is probably why this isn't a 5 star read for me. I enjoy the characters and the story so much, but the time skips drove me crazy and I often forgot details that were “present” while reading about the past. Other than that, the story was great and I definitely recommend reading this second-chance romance series!
I started this one a few days ago, but then I realized that he had a child from a ONS with a groupie. This same groupie caused the H/h to break up in the first place (though he didn't cheat on her, the heroine thought he did) and the crazy ONS groupie causes trouble for them all through the book
SO over that type of plot device...
