I enjoyed Jamie's story so much that I had to jump right into this one. I needed to see if Eric was redeemable and because of that hint about his love interest at the end of book 2.

Did I end up liking Eric? Yes, but I liked Beth so much more. Eric is growing and at the end of the book he felt like someone who would become worthy of Beth. This book shows us why Eric is the way he is and gives him a chance to become a better person.
The way he acts with Jamie still made me mad, BUT I could see that they mostly have a conversation barrier and Eric honestly isn't trying to be a bad guy.

The Brewery break-in finally comes to a conclusion. I thought it was a little drawn out, especially how Beth got involved, but I did like how all the books were tied together.

I will definitely try another book/series by this author.
