Not my favorite of Barritt's characters, but I had fun reading it anyway. Joey is a newly-divorced actress whose father has vanished, so since no one seems too worried about finding him, she heads back home to lie low after the divorce and to try to find him.
There's a lot of humor but a great deal of it veers toward the cheesy and Joey also insists on taking major risks that aren't smart at all, so while I enjoyed it I also had some issues with believability.
