Why did it take me so long to read this?I know it's only been out for a couple of months, but the way that I devoured the Hades Hangmen series, I should have been on this much sooner. At the same time, I wish I would've waited because now I just want to read an entire series that hasn't even been written yet.Tillie Cole has quickly become a favorite author of mine. I love how she writes dark romance, it's super fucked up but I LOVE it! Raphael is the pretty boy of the bunch. I'm glad that she went with him first, from reading the prequel I could already tell that he was gonna be one of my favorites. I have to ask though, does anyone else get any Black Dagger Brotherhood vibes from Tillie Cole's writing? This book reminded me a lot of BDB & Flame from [b:Souls Unfractured 22107214 Souls Unfractured (Hades Hangmen, #3) Tillie Cole https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1429054401l/22107214.SY75.jpg 41452434] really reminded me of Zsadist. Not that i'm complaining, I absolutely love both series, just wondering if anyone has the same thoughts?Anywho, I don't really want to write much about this book because I feel that if you go in blind, it's so much better. The ending had me like:Everyone that has read this so far is excited about Michael's book. But he was the character that I didn't really connect with. He was very bland to me, but i'm sure that when his book comes out i'll probably be drooling over him by the end. At this point, i'm most excited for Diel's book, he gives me some serious Flame/Zsadist vibes. I will say that I seriously thought that this was more in the fantasy realm of vampires and fallen angels and it's not. I think that's why I wasn't really looking forward to this book series. If you're wondering if you should read it, DO IT!!! Especially if you're not afraid of reading dark material.
