Radiance

I loved this at the beginning, but the middle and end were a snooze. It was very interesting to see a take on romance where the main characters hit it off immediately as friends, but had absolutely zero chemistry or sexual interest in each other. I was really enjoying that dynamic and looking forward to seeing how the author turned that relationship into something more romantic. Unfortunately it felt like the book jumped straight over that and into an unsurprising romance. “How did I ever see her as ugly?” I DONT KNOW BRISHEN THATS AN INTERESTING QUESTION GIVEN THAT YOU INITIALLY THOUGHT HER EYES REMINDED YOU OF MAGGOTS AND NOW SHES SOMEHOW THE MOST BEAUTIFUL WOMAN IN THE WORLD
