Rachel's holiday

Is it possible to read a book and still not know if you liked it or not?
I started this book, got bored, started again and willed myself to finish it.
It wasn't bad, it wasn't great...
I enjoyed parts of it a lot, and the writing it self is quite good, but I got lost every now and again...
