Okay... this book was entertaining. Ms. Armentrout knows how to write, I do like her books. But this was filled with teen angst. The stunted maturity is irritating, to an idiotic level. I can't stand the MC



I will not be continuing this series.

I read the first book in this series at the beginning of December and fell in love with the world, the History and mainly the characters. Alex is a strong minded character who acts out of impulse and happens to be a) in love with sexy, caring Pure Aiden, and b) destined to become the second Apollyon and become a walking battery pack for Seth (the first Apollyon. The gods sent furies to eradicate any threat to the covenant, may that be the hordes of pure and half-blood daimons that are attacking all the covenants or Alex and Seth.

This book is faced paced and filled with action and mystery. You find out more and more about the world, the laws and history. This book left me crying multiple times and shouting at the characters while reading in bed.
