I loved the action in this one, but I do have to say my favorite part is how fiercely determined Zoe is about keeping her daughter safe. I've really been enjoying this series.
The only thing that struck me as suspiciously odd is that country veterinarian Aaron only begins to carry a pocketknife halfway through the danger. Why in the world was he not already carrying one? Seems like that would be kinda needed in working with animals.
