I didn't have high expectations going into this one, but I really really enjoyed it.

There was spice and love and a story line. I enjoyed the writing style. And I might still be a Catholic if Father Bell ran my church.

I hate 3rd act break ups and this one really annoyed me. It was too long and although our MMC goes through a good amount of personal growth in that time, I hated seeing him in pain. I wanted a happy ending for him immediately. Because I felt he already really thought through his decision and was making the proper one for the proper reason.

I feel like Poppy's lack of communication, although we come to find out for a reason she believed to be good and for the benefit of all involved, And the prolonged breakup kept me from rating this 5 star.

It was really nice to see a smart, accomplished woman with a healthy sexual appetite represented in a way where she embraced who she was and what she liked and how preferring a certain style was making her feel strong and empowered and not coming from a place of trauma and brokenness.
