I really wanted to like this book, and there were a couple of good parts, but the leads were both so annoying with their constant misunderstandings. It was never really clear why they came to like each other. Add on to that doctors who only understand medical ethics when it's convenient, a so-called genius who didn't realize that disabled people can have hobbies, a psychic for some reason, the worst use of sexual assault in a book I've read this year (and then blaming the victim's inability to get justice on the metoo movement, hashtag feminism) and every conflict miraculously being resolved into a perfect little bow right at the end, and you've got a book I just didn't enjoy very much.
