Prey Tell was such a unique romance focusing on primal play with a deep love between an analytical girl and brothers rich best friend. Their story starts us off 8 years prior with Juliet proposing that Chase take her virginity with a well writing pros and cons list. Chase immediately denies for a plethora of reasons. Years later they find each other at an engagement party, Juliet's engagement party. After a little closet escapade, Juliet realizes this is not where she wants her life to be. We follow the budding love of a Dominant and Submissive who both know it will never be that simple. If you REALLY hate miscommunication trope, there is a third act “break up” (more of an issue) with miscommunication. Personally, I didn't want to throw my kindle at the wall so it's a win in my books.

Chase is her brothers best friend. Juliet has loved him for years. I love this story, it's angsty, smexy, happy, sad, you name it. Probably why I'm getting 3 hours of sleep before I have to work again. I had to finish it!!
