Playing for Pizza

John Grisham usually doesn't write books as simple and “mundane” as this one. The story is quite simple as a matter of fact, and this is what makes this book a Discovery. Even when it seems a very basic story, Grisham is such a good storyteller that it ends up being absolutelly engaging, light and fun. You simply can't stop Reading about the life of this almost-retired NFL player that is forced to go to Italy to play the sport he loves. A delightful piece of light Reading.

A great piece of sports fiction by John Grisham. I love the way he arranged the characters.

3.5 stars. A solid read. Grisham's style does fairly well with non-legal books, since he doesn't write thrillers.
