Playing for Keeps

I was enjoying this book until I hit Chapter 21. Then dramatic bullshitt started. I stuck in there until Chaster 27. No change just more bullshitt. This is why I am very picky about the books I choose to read that are contemporary romances. The only reason why I picked up this book was because three of the reviewers I follow gave this book five stars. The only reason I am giving it 2 stars is because I enjoyed the beginning of the book.

I'm surprised why no one is mentioning the literal rape scene here.

Someone tells the guy that she's not sleeping with him because she doesn't love him and hurts his ego and he then decides to ask her whether she loves him or not and when she says yes he penetrates her to feel better abt his ego and pride and honestly this was horrifying that he thought he could do that and the author thought he could do that and that no one in the reviews is saying anything at all about this.

such a nicer story than the pair I read before, about the h's god awful brother... actually enjoyed this one.
