Perfectly Imperfect Pixie

This might be one of my favorite books of the month. I'm not sure how I fell upon it, but I'm sooooo happy. Seriously, I inhaled this book, had to be reminded to get up and move since I had been reading in the same place for hours.

Dillon and Ruthie are adorable and they made me laugh on occasion. Sedrick and Phil's feelings were really gradual and seeing them come together was beautiful. This is a slow burn, fyi, and is also fade to black. I also totally almost cried while reading this, there was a moment that hit me so hard, I almost couldn't hold back my tears. So, I suppose that also shows that I was able to deeply feel for the characters and had an amazing time seeing them overcome their trials.

Also, this world is so awesome. I honestly can't believe this is the only book set in this world – if I'm wrong please someone tell me. Phil is a pixie, Sed is a werewolf, but there are also mentions of gnomes, trolls, ogres, fairies, vampires, dwarfs, and other types of weres/shifters. Oh and humans. So, urban, modern-day setting and tons of variety of beings. These are the kinds of settings I live to for. We were introduced to some awesome side characters who have a lot of life and backstory to them, so I'd love to see something else written in this world!

Anyhow, 10/10 would recommend (and already recommended to some people before I even finished reading). This is the first book I've read by this author, it will not be the last.
