Well, this is what I get after publicly confessing my love for John Green.

Paper Towns did very little for me. Mostly, I couldn't get over my hatred of main character Margo Roth Spiegelman. I don't think I've hated a main character this much since I met Trixie in The Tenth Circle. I do not understand what made this girl so magnetic, so Q's obsession with her made me dislike him too.

This book is divided into three parts and it wasn't until the final part that I actually got into the plot. It became more classic John Green and was just generally more enjoyable than the majority of the story.

I'm willing to accept this is a bump in the road, Mr. Green. I'm on my way to the library to pick up The Fault in our Stars right now, and I have very high hopes!
