Okay, let's start this one with a warning. This book opens up with Tasuku afraid that he's been outed, so he is standing on the edge of the cliff debating if he should jump– so be warned this is not a lighthearted book.
That being said, things do get easier. This book is another one that had my heart aching as I read it, but as Tasuku starts talking out his fears and emotions and starts listening to other people's stories, he gets brighter. I felt so much for this character and I just wanted to hug him and give him cookies – he is so precious and so, so very afraid. But he comes to learn that while there are bad times, there are also good moments for him to look forward to.
The ending is a bit of a emotional cliffhanger, a punch to the gut, and I am looking forward to reading more and hopefully seeing more hope for Tasuku.
