One Less Problem Without You

I received this book through netgalley in exchange for a honest and fair review

Wow this book... probably more like 1.5 stars.

The writing flows and it is a fast read. Then again, I flicked through some of the book. I really did like the main women.

Now, let's discuss the bad. Firstly, and I mean omg I'm bringing this up because I can't stop thinking about it but... rape. It is a serious situation yet, in this book it happens and it is treated so so lightly. SO LIGHTLY! It was frustrating and I felt it was only used as a way to force the women characters to make certain choices or decisions.

There does seem to be a direction to the story but, I felt like I was being moved by the tides, not sure exactly where I was going. The climax wasn't very climatic.

Things just did not work for me.

The more I think about the book the more I want to give it a worse rating but, the thing is, it wasn't bad enough to give up on.

Would I recommend this? No way, man.
