I didn't like this one quite as much as Silver Silence, but still a very strong installment in the series! It was interesting to get information on the human side of Trinity since we got a look at both the Psy and the Changelings in book 1. I also just love the Changeling dynamics the most out of the three of them but I've always had a soft spot for shapeshifters so I suppose that makes sense. I really like how they lean on the found family aspect for Changeling clans, it's very sweet and wholesome and allows some really intricate family dynamics.

The only thing I didn't like in this book was that, by necessity of one of the LIs being on a ‘time limit', means that it was insta-love for the main couple. I really don't like insta-love, even with true mates, but the time limit part of the plot was enjoyable enough that it canceled out most of my dislike for that trope.

I've already started the third book so I'm still very interested in this series!
