I've been wanting to read this one for a long time. It's funny, because I don't read the blog or listen to the podcast. It just came across the counter at the library and I read what it was about and put myself on the list. There are some religious elements, but they are mainly quotes. I didn't need the chapter on homeschooling, but I read it anyway and it fell in line with my personal philosophy of raising kids to be self learners and lifelong learners. I loved what she had to say about travel, everyday chores, and boredom. I found myself nodding along as I read. Very enjoyable. I'm not sure I picked up anything “new”, but I learn by watching so I was grateful to see this family in action. I may even check out the blog.
