No Ordinary Princess

Set in turn-of-the-century Texas, King Calhoun is a wildcatter with big dreams. His daughter, Princess, is just ordinary; not pretty, not smart, she's just a good-hearted woman with a whole lot of spunk. Quite a romantic, Princess falls in love at first sight with Tom Walker, a handsome roughrider. Tom dreams of wealth. If he can't earn it, he's not averse to marrying for it. He poses as a wealthy easterner to woo Princess, but finds--to his dismay--that he has fallen for her. When King and Princess learn of his betrayal, Tom is forced to choose what is of real value.
