I don't usually read books about the Holocaust, especially not non-fiction but I always felt like this was one that I should read. I'm glad I did, but also wish I hadn't.....There are some things that you think you know, you think you've read or heard everything that was so horrible about the Holocaust, but then you discover you didn't and it's worse than you thought and all you can do is cry because you can't change anything that happened. It was heartbreaking and I was enraged and I had nowhere to take this anger. But I read it. And maybe I won't have nightmares.
