If there was ever a book that would change me it is hands down this one. It was so eloquently written and was exactly what i needed to understand the entire scope of what happened to these families and this town. I have been in the process of creating a behavioral mobile app that will help with detecting patterns in various conditions like asperger's, bipolar depression, ADHD, schizophrenia, and the list continues. This book has given me a new perspective to approach with my already 7 years of work. Im not making this review about me though. This author was brilliant with telling the stories of so many moving parts that happened that day. As i was reading i could see in my head it playing out and while i sobbed uncontrollably in some parts I am thankful i picked up this book. Not only so i can contribute to helping prevent something like this from ever happening again but knowing the warning signs and understanding that chain events that can be prevented in future happenings.
