New York Times and USA Today Bestseller From New York Times bestselling author Jay Crownover comes the fourth book in the Marked Men series. Saint Ford has worked hard to achieve her childhood dream of becoming of nurse. Focused on her work and devoted to her patients, there’s no room for love. She doesn’t need a guy making waves in her calm, serene life—especially when he’s the unforgettable hottie who nearly destroyed her in high school. Dark, brooding Nash Donovan might not remember her or the terrible pain he caused. But he turned her world upside down . . . and now he’s trying to do it again. Saint has no idea that Nash isn’t the cocky player he once was. Uncovering a devastating family secret has rocked his world, and now he’s struggling to figure out his future. He can’t be distracted by the pretty nurse he seems to meet everywhere. Still, he can’t ignore the sparks that fly between them—or how she seems so desperate to get away from him. But the funny, sweet, and drop-dead gorgeous Saint is far too amazing to give up on—especially since she’s the only thing in his life that seems to make sense. When Nash discovers the truth about their past, he realizes he may have lost her heart before he could even fight for it. Now, Saint has to decide: is Nash worth risking herself for all over again?

Saint was the first Marked Woman I wanted to hit. Nash was amazing. His story with his Uncle slash father, was very touching I cried. And if it wasn't for Saints inability to pull herself out of her f** head it would have been a 4-star.
“Later. It's not going anywhere.” - Nash
“It's so much more than just a tattoo.” - Saint
Tattoos always had sentimental meaning for me, and when I first read Jay Crownover's Rule, I just can't get over it and I totally had to fan-girl to the highest level by sending her a massive message here on Goodreads on how I really loved the book. And how I totally adored her by her love of ink. She replied so kindly but I'll keep it to myself right now. :)
On the early days, back in my teenage years, people would often dismiss the idea of tattoos, ie: it's dirty, it's bad for health, it wouldn't get you a job, and so on and so forth, mostly negative shit from people who do not understand. It actually had me second think my first tattoo but you know how that ended, right.
The thing with Jay's Marked men is they only do not have tattoos, the are the artist who appreciates the art. Dedicated, not only they have a whole lot of their own, but they make every single art they create for their client, or friend's body, perfect. There is a process here people, everything is sanitary. They don't just put ink on you like that, they make sure all is done well, evenly and passionately. And in real life, I am fortunate to have met artists who are the same, even the smallest of my tattoos came with a process that would not make you second think if you are in a safe place.
Nash makes you feel the same way, he values his clients, treats some of them as friends. And I really like it about him.
On thing that I noticed from all the Marked books is that they were all philanderers, we hate men like that and I am glad one by one they are settling their asses up. Good on them. ;) I think this is not an issue with Jay, I mean, sure she writes her men like that but the idea of being just with one man or woman in your life I think is what her goal is.
And I most loved when Nash said:
“Body art isn't a contest. The only person that has to like it is the person stuck with it for the rest of their life. As long as you love it when you see it, that's all that matters.”
